New and Improved Document Management

The Document Manager now stores files on your computer in a normal file structure with understandable names.

The screenshot above shows a sample Ombudsman Cases directory, with an imaginary case named Smith, Matt. The files on the right are named based on the tab, document number and document name.

Previously, the Document Manager stored local files in a hidden directory. You could access them through the Ombudsman Cases report, but you could not view them using Explorer.

Now, files are kept in your Documents directory, under Ombudsman Cases. Each case is kept in its own directory. This structure makes it easy to copy all of the documents from a case to a third party such as a brief writer.
